The City of Ballarat is delighted to announce that the Ballarat Pride Month registrations are now open. If you have an LGBTIQA+ gathering, exhibition, show, or other event you’d like to be part of Ballarat Pride Month, now is the time to register it!
Ballarat Pride Month is an open festival for all LGBTIQA+ themed events for the month of June, 2025.
First Friday of every month
Come and join our Community Connectors as we celebrate our older LGBTI+ community and allies. This group provides a welcoming space to meet new friends and have a chat about all things ageing with pride.

A family friendly day out with our beloved Pride Market, roving performers, food trucks an the Dykes with Bikes! BYO Picnic and picnic blanket!

Head on down to Hop Lane just outside of Hop Temple Ballarat and grab a photo with with our rainbow umbrellas! They'll be up for a few months, so get on down to Hop Lane to see them before they fly away

The Transgender flag will fly over the Town hall all day.
We will also be hosting a celebration and afternoon tea with special guest speakers at TBH Studio from 5:30-6:30pm

Step into the hidden history of Victoria’s queer past at the official launch of Queer Goldfields (queergoldfields.au), a ground breaking project uncovering the lives of LGBTIQA+ figures from the 19th century.

performances, music, and storytelling inspired by historical figures who lived boldly and defiantly.

Take a book, leave a book, this free little library is filled with LGBTIQA+ books for all ages.
The main Queer Little Library is located at TBH Studio, 57 Bridge Mall, Ballarat Central (next to Collins Booksellers)
Our Queer Little Library & our age appropriate children's version, A Rainbow Little Library also pop up from time to time at various events.
