Lesbian Visibility Day

26 April

Lesbian Visibility Day is a day to raise awareness of the issues faced by LBTQ women, in workplaces, in culture and in health and wellbeing.

2022

Clock and Wendouree Fountain lighting

In 2022, the clock tower on the Town Hall and the fountain in Lake Wendouree were lit up in orange, pink and white to represent the lesbian flag for Lesbian Visibility Week.

The City of Ballarat acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land we live and work on, the Wadawurrung and Dja Dja Wurrung People, and recognises their continuing connection to the land and waterways. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging and extend this to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People.

Please note, this website contains the names and photos of people who have passed away.
